In collaboration with a number of other local groups, including The Octavia Foundation, Kids on The Green, The Rugby Portobello Trust and Portobello Radio, the RSF led on the music production side for a local multimedia project, Kensal Voices. With a group of young people aged 13-16, we created a soundtrack, exploring the heritage and community of The North Kensington area. The elements of the project comprised creative writing, performance, architecture, the digital arts and podcasting.
“The Rhythm Studio Foundation supported the project in facilitating 3 workshops in music production and throughout the entire process, from planning and preparation, to delivery and post production, they were consistently thorough, responsive and delivered excellent outcomes. Diahann was super professional, friendly and helpful in arranging the workshops, and the facilitator Danny was outstanding in his preparation and communication, and quickly established a good rapport with the young people, and knew how to get the best from them creatively through his production expertise, patience and quick workflow, all of which is evidenced in the excellent musical pieces delivered at the end of the project.”
