Sixth Form

music & musical theatre courses

The Rhythm Studio’s Sixth Form courses are government-funded programmes that offer 16-18 year olds the opportunity to spend two years developing the expertise, attitudes and ethos required to succeed in the creative industries.

Students choose to study a full-time pathway in Music (Performance, Production & Business), or a pathway in Musical Theatre. Each pathway is a two-year UCAS accredited qualification equivalent to three A-Levels that is designed to prepare students for progression to university and work as a music industry or performing arts professional.

Courses are delivered in partnership with West London College at our studio facilities in Hammersmith.  All sixth formers complete a selection of practical units, alongside a broad range of career development and enrichment activities, including fortnightly masterclasses and work experience placements and industry events.

The Rhythm Studio is committed to nurturing the talents of young people via a modern and innovative approach to education and we are proud of our reputation as a leading provider of music and performing arts education within London and beyond. A prime location, superb facilities, outstanding pastoral care and a close network of partner organisations allow students to enjoy the best that the capital’s creative industries have to offer.

MUSIC

MUSICAL THEATRE

The teaching staff at The Rhythm Studio are kind, understanding and inspiring, which allows my child to focus on his creative endeavours while feeling supported, and not with anxiety about meeting a “checklist” - he can express himself as an artist.
