To mark Black History Month we are celebrating the amazing artists who inspired our tutors to become professional musicians.

I discovered Michael Kiwanuka when he released his debut album in 2012 and I have been a huge fan ever since. His voice, his songs and the world he creates with each record is inspiring - I hear something new with every listen. His music has always influenced my own writing, and in particular helped to shape the world I aspire to make with my songs and recording.
