We urgently need your help to raise £30,000 to secure the future of The Rhythm Studio Foundation.
The RSF Music Marathon Challenge is our response to dramatic change in the fundraising landscape over the last 6 months. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in fundraising income.
Whilst we are supported by a number of generous Trusts, Foundations and individuals, The Rhythm Studio Foundation is facing a shortfall of £30,000 in 2020-21 due to the cancellation of our major fundraising events this year.
The Rhythm Studio Foundation plays a key role in providing music opportunities to disadvantaged young people in our local community. Over the last 5 years we have delivered Rock & Pop music workshops to over 1200 children from our local state primary schools, awarded 112 annual scholarships for one-to-one music tuition to deserving young people and have involved over 3300 young patients, siblings and carers in our music workshops on the paediatric wards at Chelsea & Westminster and St Mary’s Hospitals.
We are asking you, your family and friends to take part in The RSF Music Marathon Challenge.
It’s simple to take part in - as a marathon is 26 miles, just choose an activity based around the number 2.6, 26, 260, 2600 and fundraise to support The Rhythm Studio Foundation. We’ve come up with some great ideas around music but you can bake, read, run, swim, cycle- it’s totally up to you - you are only limited by your imagination! You can even start today as long as you have completed your challenge by Sunday October 4th 2020 to coincide with the rescheduled iconic London Marathon. You can also choose to donate if you can’t participate.
