We feel so honoured to have received the Excellence in Primary/Early Years (Music & Drama) Award. As a relatively small charity, we always aim to punch above our weight and so it’s particularly rewarding to receive such a high-profile national award for the work we’re doing in the community. It’s always great to receive positive feedback from our local school partners at the end of a project, but to have our programme further validated by winning a 2021 Music & Drama Education Award is absolutely brilliant.

Our local primary schools Rock & Pop workshops create such a buzz for the children involved and we love working with them. It’s a huge collaborative effort and so a big thanks must go to all our teachers at The Rhythm Studio, local school staff, John Lyon’s Charity amongst other supporters and of course the fantastic 9-11 year olds that stream into our studios every week to make music.
