Marco Tardiola

SIXTH FORM LEAD

Marco Tardiola is a professional musician, guitar teacher, music producer and songwriter based in London. Originally from south of Italy, he decided to pursue his passion for music and moved to London, where he graduated from the BMus (Hons) Degree Guitar course at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), and later obtained a Master’s Degree in Music Production at LCCM.

As a songwriter and producer, Marco has collaborated with international artists and DJs, and worked on soundtracks for short films and movies including the track “Higher Spirit”, which features on the soundtrack for the Oscar nominated movie “The Big Sick”.

His specialisation in music performance led him to The Rhythm Studio, initially as a guitar and band session tutor, and then moving on to teaching in the Sixth Form Programme.

On his new single ‘Lose Control’, Belgian DJ and producer Sem Thomasson teams up with Mãs, a London based singer-songwriter from Switzerland. Between all the heavy beats, this sexy, feel good tune jumps forward with its sights set on a hot summer, breezy beaches and steamy nightclubs. For Sem, teaming up with Mãs was an instant match. They found themselves chatting about losing yourself to somebody and instead of putting this theme into another tragic love song, it turned out to become a fresh funky dance track!
