This Easter Break saw three successful weeks of Rock & Roll Boot Camp take place at two different locations, culminating in terrific performances at iconic venues Pizza Express Live and Water Rats. Both new and familiar faces were seen at our first ever East London Rock & Roll Boot Camp which took place at Access Creative College’s state-of-the-art facilities in Whitechapel. A packed gig at the famous Water Rats in Kings Cross was a fitting finale to a wonderful week. We are excited for the summer run – have you signed up yet? We’re excited to reveal the incredible experiences in our upcoming Silent Auction, which will raise vital funds to support the next generation of music makers via The Rhythm Studio Foundation’s scholarships, primary school programme and hospital workshops.
We’re thrilled to confirm a star-studded line up for The RSF Bright Future’s gig at Bush Hall on Wednesday 8th May, our first major fundraising concert since 2019.

Last week we held one of our holiday Rock & Roll Bootcamps. Following our usual structure of running four days of tutored sessions where the students form bands together and learn to play a couple of different songs to perform at the end of the week with our friends at Pizza Express in Holborn.
On Tuesday 30th January The Rhythm Studio Foundation was invited down to Paddington Academy for a careers fair they were hosting.
What a year it has been for us here at The Rhythm Studio Foundation! 2023 has been an extremely lively year for us, from our school and hospital workshops, to our fundraisers and everything in between!
On Tuesday we were invited down to Lyric Square to put together a small, acoustic lunchtime concert for Hammersmith BID.
On Monday 4th December, we took a trip down to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in Fulham to put together a small lunchtime performance as a part of the Hospitals ‘Great Big Thank You Week’.
Over the past two weeks we have been working with Paddington Academy to give them two taster sessions with one of our tutors.
On Monday 27th November we had our final workshop with Avonmore Primary School. Over the course of the previous ten weeks our tutors have been working with Avonmore’s class of Year 4 students to prepare them for an end of term performance at their school.
A few weeks ago we hosted one of our Rock n Roll Bootcamps, where we had a sold out week of students coming into The Rhythm Studio to prepare for a concert with our friends at the Pizza Express Jazz Club in Holborn.
On Wednesday 15th November, The Rhythm Studio Foundation hosted a fundraising concert at a small venue in South West London, The Bread and Roses in Clapham. Featuring five different acts across four hours of music,
Career Development Week this year was a busy one, with our Sixth Form Students having the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of different activities, trips and workshops across the week.
As a part of our series of Masterclasses we recently had the honour of having Ciara Chinniah on site to give a lecture to our Sixth Form Students.

One of The Rhythm Studio Foundations week-to-week jobs is providing workshops in a number of different primary schools across the West London area. Spread across each week our teaches travel out to the schools to provide Music education in a variety of ways.
Another great Queen’s Park Day despite the rain! We managed to get all of our students on stage to perform, a huge thanks to our sound engineer Russell for staying calm amid the downpours! See you there next year hopefully with less rain and more sunshine ☀️
This past weekend some of our RSF Scholarship students got to take a trip to The Royal Albert Hall to spend ‘A Night With The Compozers’

It was great to have Carl Smith the co-founder of Stomp back at the studio for a Stomp body percussion workshop for our sixth formers in career development week!
Two weeks ago we took part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, running 13.1 miles through four of Londons most famous royal parks, beginning and ending with Hyde Park.
The event will be hosted at The Bread & Roses Pub in Clapham, at 19.00PM on Wednesday 15th November 2023. The concert will raise funds for The Rhythm Studio Foundation and will help to pay for programmes such as our hospital workshops, school workshops and scholarship scheme.
Such a pleasure having Dylan Myerscough-Harris with us for our sixth form masterclass! Dylan told us about his multi-faceted career in the music industry, the role of A&Rs, and he even gave us some precious advice on how to stay on top of our mental health game while being in the creative industries.
Our sixth formers were lucky to be joined today by Digital Marketing wizard and TikTok connoisseur Louis Ravens, educating our young people on how to get creative with content and best practises to build their fanbase online.
