Refurbishment at Wornington Road

A major refurbishment will begin at our home at Morley College North Kensington this Summer. This government backed project safeguards the future of education at a site that has been at the centre of community learning in North Kensington since 1874. The Rhythm Studio moved into Wornington Road in 2015 and we are proud to have become a part of its legacy. To allow for this extensive refurbishment project to be carried out, The Rhythm Studio will operate from a new site from July 2021 for a period of 9-12 months. On completion of the work, we look forward to returning to Wornington Road and state-of-the-art facilities, including a recording studio, refurbished practice rooms, a radio studio, a multi-use community hall and a glass fronted café at the entrance to the college building.

West London College

From July 2021, we will be taking up residence at West London College, 9 Gliddon Road, W14 9BL.  We are very lucky to be taking on exceptional music studio space where we can continue to inspire children and young people to develop their musical talents.  We are fortunate that West London College is well connected by public transport with the underground at Barons Court and Hammersmith, overground trains at Kensington Olympia and many bus routes all a short walk away.  In addition, pay-and-display parking is readily available outside the college building.  The new location will be easy to reach for some, but for others it may require a longer journey.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss lesson timings and we will do everything in our power to offer a solution that works for you.

Sixth Form

The Rhythm Studio’s sixth form students will complete the current academic year at Wornington Road with classes finishing on Friday 2nd July 2021. Sixth form students moving from Year 1 to Year 2 will soon be given the opportunity to visit the new facilities. Following the summer break, Year 2 students will resume their studies alongside our new cohort of Year 1 students at The Rhythm Studio’s new studios at West London College on Monday 6th September 2021.

After-School & Weekend Classes

All after-school and weekend classes will continue as usual at Wornington Road until Sunday 4th July.  From Monday 5th July to Sunday 11th July, all students are invited to perform at our Summer Gig Week which will take place in our new performance space at West London College.  After an 18 month wait since our last Gig Week, we are excited to get our students back onstage and look forward to combining these concerts with an opportunity to view the new studios. From Monday 6th September, after-school and weekend classes will resume at West London College.
